The 2010 Mercedes Benz Sprinter and Vito are excellent candidates for cng or lpg conversion, just like the previous models.

Current Mercedes Benz Sprinter is available with suitable petrol engines for Mercedes Benz official LPG gas installations. There are two engines the Kompressor providing 160hp and the V6 with a stonking 250hp. Both are well proven and capable of the distance.

Each engine is available in both the familier 3.5 ton and 5.0 tonne configuration. The latter will make a useful addition to those wanting gas / congestion charge exempt Heavy payload vehicles, like fridges and tippers.

Our gas Sprinter imports offer a unique range of benefits to the gas high-cube van sector. Not only the engines and payloads mentioned earlier, but also in drive comfort. An LPG Mercedes Sprinter leads the way with the automatic versions in the heavy sector. Both the 3 tonne and 5 tonne versions can be specifed from us to have an auto box. Owner drivers will appreciate this long awaited option, great for city work or coach operations.

LPG "Powershift" approved vehicles will continue to pay only £10 per year registration,  all other vehicles that are not legible for discounts will pay £8 a day.
